Our Story
Synkora was born from a shared frustration. Three great minds, working across different tech companies in East Africa, encountered the same challenge: existing customer success tools weren't built for the realities of African businesses.
They had seen firsthand how SMEs struggled with customer retention and lacked tools designed for their unique needs — from navigating diverse payment systems to operating in environments with varying levels of connectivity and regulatory complexities.
In 2021, they came together over coffee in Nairobi with a bold vision: to create a customer success platform purpose-built for African businesses. Months were spent researching, interviewing business owners from Kenya to Nigeria, and digging deep into the everyday challenges faced on the ground.
In 2023, that vision became a reality. What started as a simple solution quickly evolved into a comprehensive platform. Today, Synkora proudly supports over 500 businesses across 15 African countries, helping them deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sustainable growth.
